Watch: Tellison Unveil New Video For ‘Freud Links The Teeth And The Heart’

Tellison have unveiled their brand new video for ‘Freud Links The Teeth And The Heart’, which you can watch right above.

The band are gearing up to release their final single from 2011’s ‘The Wages Of Fear’ on the 28th May.

DIY spoke to Tellison frontman Stephen Davidson, who gave us an extra insight into why ‘Freud…’ was chosen as the band’s final offering.

‘It just appealed to us because it was something slightly different to what we’d done before, which was tried to - I guess - play the game. Release an up-beat, catchy song with a big chorus and hope that people jump on the bandwagon. I guess I like the idea of doing something completely the opposite of that, and releasing a song that is really weird and sort of a joke, or a poem, set to music.”

“With ‘Freud’, we just recorded as little as possible. With Henry’s guitar part, for example, he plays about two things - it’s just super simple! But, I think it works really well. It’s the sort of song that, when we play live, it brings a break from the louder stuff and people seem to respond to it really well.”
