Watch: Temples Unveil ‘Mesmerise’ Video

’ psych-packed debut album ‘Sun Structures’ is just around the corner. It’s a retro-fused assault on the senses, wasting not a single second in projecting three and a half minute, astute ’60s inspired gems.

‘Mesmerise’ is one of them, and its accompanying video gives a pretty self-explanatory example of just how extreme Temples’ psychedelic influences run. Set out in space, the clay model video is directed by Benjael Halfmaderholz, showing a series of spiralling shapes get shifted by a gravitational pull under they land, unexpectedly, into the gaping mouths of the band themselves.
