The 1975 release ‘If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)’

The fan favourite has finally arrived!

Ever since they debuted the song during their recent tour, fans have been desperate to hear The 1975’s ‘If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)’ again, and today is finally the day!

The latest release from their forthcoming fourth album ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’, the sax-heavy new ‘75 pop bop - that includes instantly quotable lyrics such as “maybe I would like you better if you took if your clothes” - follows the recent release of ‘Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America’ featuring Phoebe Bridgers.

Doing what they do best, the new one from the lads is an uplifting pop banger, full of twinkling melodies soundtracked by huge sounds. Kicking off with a soothing intro before exploding with euphoric pop power (and tossing in a sizzling saxophone solo, of course), it’s already destined to go down in their discography as one of their best.

It’s also accompanied by a new live video shot in black and white and directed by frequent collaborator Adam Powell. So make sure to play that on repeat before the 22-track album in its entirety is released next month.
