Band’s dads are enlisted to help perform ‘Lisbon’. Hilarity ensues.
Plenty of folk are getting very excited indeed about the new double LP from The Wave Pictures. Moshi Moshi release ‘City Forgiveness’ on 21st October - it’s a big occasion.
No-one’s more excited than the band’s respective dads, though. It’s all evidenced here. At first it looks like The Wave Pictures have just aged really, really badly (all those prolific release schedules could easily catch up on them) - instead, it turns out ‘Lisbon”s gone all dad-rock.
Each newly-recruited member does a splendid job of keeping it together, especially when it comes to the technically tricky solos.
