Watch: Touché Amoré Reveal UK Tour Video

The band have unveiled a video filmed during the first half of their UK tour, late last month.

Touché Amoré have unveiled a brand new video documenting the first half of their UK tour, which took place late last month.

The live video was filmed and edited by Basement’s Alex Henery, and shows the band as they played their three UK shows in Brighton, Portsmouth and London last month.

The band have since supported Rise Against, along with Architects, on their massive tour around Europe, but will be beginning the second leg of their UK run tonight in Birmingham. The remaining dates the band are set to play are:

MARCH
23 Birmingham HMV Temple
24 Glasgow Stereo
25 Nottingham Rock City Basement
26 Bristol Thekla
27 Manchester Sound Control
28 London XOYO

Reknowned for their explosive live shows, DIY spoke to frontman Jeremy Bolm about what he’s most looking forward to on their visit, this time around.

‘I’m most excited, at the end of the run when we come back to the UK, we’re doing Glasgow, which is top of the list of the places I’ve always wanted to go to. Every tour we’ve come over, I’ve always begged to go there but it’s never worked out. ‘

Touché Amoré released their second album ‘Parting The Sea Between Brightness And Me’ back in June 2011, and have been relentlessly touring ever since.

‘I can’t even put it into words how ridiculous it’s been. It has been so, so great and I’m having experiences that I never thought I would have in my life. It’s been overwhelming. Touring is the comfort zone now. You rely on it. Things that used to aggravate you in the beginning are just now the norm: you shower when you shower, you have clean clothes when you have clean clothes. Things like that! Every day you’re seeing new friends that you’ve made over time. You get to play shows! It’s the most exciting way to end the day every single day. There’s nothing better than that. It’s better than being at home, when I’m just sitting, petting my cat, listening to records. I mean, that’s relaxing, but as much as that’s great, I’m spoiled now.’

Be sure to check them out: you will not regret it.
