Jäger Curtain Call
Watch TRAAMS play Jäger Curtain Call
The band brought ‘A House On Fire’ to Queen Of Hoxton earlier this month.
As you’ve probably figured out by now, DIY and Jägermeister have teamed up with a bunch of new bands and headed down to Shoreditch’s Curtain Road, for our new project Jäger Curtain Call.
We’ve been taking the ‘road to success’ rather literally by basing Jäger Curtain Call in the iconic East London area. Home to some of our favourite labels - Wichita, Bella Union, Secretly Canadian and many more - it’s the perfect location for a new band to take their next step.
Earlier this month, we brought Chichester post-punks TRAAMS to Queen Of Hoxton for a packed-out, riotous London show. It capped off a few weeks which saw the band entering Curtain Road’s Strongroom Studio, before emerging with the sprawling ‘A House On Fire’, a new single that we pinned as “the best encapsulation to date of TRAAMS’ uncontainable live show”.
Below, you can watch the trio tear through all nine minutes of ‘A House On Fire’ at that Queen Of Hoxton show, complete with mosh pit and all.
Jäger Curtain Call continues next month with Hawk Eyes, who play the Old Blue Last alongside The Computers on December 17th. Buy tickets now.
