Watch Years & Years and Tune-Yards play Jools Holland

Last in the series also hosted Robert Plant for its live edition.

Last night, the latest in the new series of Later… With Jools Holland took place.

Amongst guests including Robert Plant, Counting Crows and Gedeon Luke and the People, highlights came from Tune-Yards and Years & Years.

The latter were making their Jools debut ahead of a support slot on Sam Smith’s forthcoming UK tour. Olly Alexander and co. played their new single, ‘Desire’. A couple of strangers in the distance can be seen promptly “losing their shit” when the chorus kicks in.

Tune-Yards arrived to perform ‘Water Fountain’ from her latest LP ‘Nikki Nack’, which is out now on 4AD. Her set was a percussive, oddball blast, the perfect companion to her latest LP.

An extended edition of this week’s Jools airs on BBC Two, Friday 31st October.

Watch Years & Years and Tune-Yards play Jools below.
