Weezer drop more hints with latest ‘Weezer Wednesday’ clip
Concept album? Bio-pic? Who knows.
Weezer are getting dead good at this “let’s put a little bit of something in a video and share it online and get people talking” thing.
Their latest ‘Weezer Wednesday’ clip - the band have been posting weekly snippets for some time now, mostly detailing studio sights and sounds - features not only some delightfully familiar sounding chord changes in what’s probably a clip from a song - but a little bit of acting (while a man prints press clippings from a dot matrix printer in ‘the past’, a young - bespectacled - boy tells his mother he’s off to LA). It’s titled ‘Eulogy For A Rock Band’.
Does this mean ‘Everything Will Be Alright In The End’ is a concept album? A bio-pic in audio form? Who knows. It’s exciting, at least.
