Westside Cowboy reveal plans for debut album ‘It Goes On’
The breakout quartet’s first full-length will arrive this summer.

Giddy up! Westside Cowboy have confirmed that their much-anticipated debut album, ‘It Goes On’, will hit shelves on 21st August via Island Records, and have marked the occasion with a brand new single and video.
Hot on the heels of their two acclaimed EPs (2025’s ‘This Better Be Something Great’ and January’s ‘So Much Country ‘Till We Get There’), the 11-track LP is set to be another milestone in what’s already been a dizzying journey for the Manchester quartet, who recently joined Geese and Black Country, New Road on tour.
Recorded in Leeds with Loren Humphrey (Geese, Cameron Winter, Wunderhorse), ‘It Goes On’ is defined by the band’s mission statement of “[making] an album for our younger selves, one that reminds us of all the bodies of work that made us fall in love with music.”
Continuing, they have explained: “We wanted the music to be instant, concise, and honest to us as people today. There will be plenty of time in the future for the sprawling triple album with horns and string sections but for now, it’s young music made by some young(ish) people. We want to make songs that are lean and imperfect. We’re really proud of it and we hope that you enjoy it.”
Epitomising WSCB’s humble ethos is the heartening video for latest single ‘Kick Stones (The Boys)’, which places the track’s Velvet Underground-influenced propulsion in the context of a local FC United of Manchester game - a football club that was founded when Man United were sold to an American corporation.
