WHY? are releasing sixth album ‘Moh Lhean’ in March

Yoni Wolf has also shared a short album trailer.

WHY?, the project of Yoni Wolf, has announced that his sixth album ‘Moh Lhean’ will be out on 3rd March via Joyful Noise.

The record is the first to have been recorded in Wolf’s home studio since his 2003 debut ‘Oaklandazulsylum’ and has been co-produced by his brother Josiah. ‘Moh Lhean’ also promises to see WHY? in a different frame of mind, leaning more into cosmic territory.

WHY? also shared a short album trailer, which features an instrumental snippet of the lead single and album opener ‘This Ole King.’ Across gentle acoustic guitar strums and twisted electronic swirls, the 45-second animated clip apparently shows a man drowning at sea as drawings of elephants, skulls and creepy puppet-like figures explode briefly across the screen. Yep, it’s probably going to be a weird one.

Watch the album trailer and see the tracklisting for ‘Moh Lhean’ below.

1 This Ole King
2 Proactive Evolution
3 Easy
4 January February March
5 One Mississippi
6 The Longing Is All
