WILDERADO bring the drizzle with 'Under the Weather'

Having changed their name from Bird Dog (the new one is much better, lads, well done) and hooked up Sufjan Stevens production whizz James McAlister and The Shins’ Yuuki Matthews, WILDERADO look like an entirely polished prospect these days. Hot on the heels of the forlorn billy-no-mates anthem ‘Talking About Love to A Cigarette’ at the end of last year, they’re back with the drizzly ‘Under the Weather’.

“Let yourself go, you can’t be an asshole,” lilts Max Helmerich in trembling vocals, as fuzz-treated guitars march rigidly onward, giving way to a brilliant nonchalant, foot-scuffing solo.

We’ve got the first spin of ‘Under the Weather’ - recorded in the band’s own dilapidated Latigo Canyon studio - here on DIY. Have a listen below.
