Few can pen instant anthemia quite like Woahnows. Whether they’re blustering ahead of the pack, or wilting and sighing their way through their more surf-tinted takes on modern anxiety, every sucker-punch of their hook-laced indie-punk hits a sweet spot like no other. In their new video for ‘Mess’, premiering below, they’re taking a breather, and pulling things back to basics once more.

All choppy, dodgy green-screen and warehouse performance, it’s a clip that captures Woahnows at their most grin-inducing. Frivolous to the core and dedicated to keeping heads held high, it’s a track and video that revel in the brighter side.

The video comes ahead of a slot at The Great Escape for the trio, who’ll be playing The Hub at 12:30pm on Friday 20th May.
