Wolf Alice are sending mysterious postcards to fans
Each comes from a fictional place, with its own cryptic message.
Anybody even remotely familiar with the Harry Potter franchise as a kid will remember being fairly pissed off when that long-awaited letter from Hogwarts never arrived. It’s a similar story today with Wolf Alice, who are sending out mysterious postcards to a select few lucky fans.
Addressed from fictional places - ‘After The Zero Hour,’ ‘St. Purple & Green’ and ‘Visions of a Life’ to name a few - each card comes with a cryptic message scribbled within. They appear to be song lyrics at a guess; although it’s quite possible that Joel Amey just stumbled upon a load of first class stamps on a night out, and decided to recruit a few new pen pals.
Wolf Alice are sharing a few of the postcards on Twitter - so far our favourite message is “‘who hurt you sadboy?’”.
Fingers and toes crossed for album number two, then? Here’s hoping this is the first sign of those “surprises up our sleeves” they pointed to last year.
