Wolf Alice to release new single ‘Beautifully Unconventional’ today
The ‘Visions Of A Life’ track is getting its first play on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show.
Wolf Alice’s new album ‘Visions Of A Life’ comes out at the end of next month on Dirty Hit, and another track from it is set to be shared tonight!
‘Beautifully Unconventional’ will get its first play on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show as Hottest Record, so tune in around 7.30pm to hear the third preview of the ‘My Love Is Cool’ follow-up.
The first two tracks to be shared from the album - the chaotic ‘Yuk Foo’ and blissful, rose-tinted ‘Don’t Delete The Kisses’ - paint very different pictures, and could see ‘Visions Of A Life’ stray in either direction. We’re bloody excited, basically.
We caught up with Wolf Alice on their recent intimate US club tour, debuting songs from album two.
“We want to make records that people listen to for a long time. We want to be a permanent fixture in musical relevance and we want to be putting out good stuff,” Theo Ellis told us.
Ellie Rowsell, meanwhile, had a slightly different take on ‘Visions Of A Life’. “We want to be the herpes of albums, rather than chlamydia.”

UPDATE:
You can now hear a 30 second snippet of ‘Beautifully Unconventional’ via Radio 1 themselves below. Dig in and see you at half 7!
