Wolf Alice bring the horror with ‘You’re A Germ’ video
Tropes ahoy as zombies, blood, gore and more make an appearance.

It’s no secret we reckon Wolf Alice - and that almost-Number One debut album of theirs - are bloody brilliant, but we didn’t put so much emphasis on the bloody… until now.
The latest single from ‘My Love Is Cool’ is the gnarly ‘You’re A Germ’, and the band have now shared a video for it - featuring blood. And zombies. (And probably loads more horror flick tropes that could be identified if this wasn’t being written by the member of the DIY team least knowledgable about films. Let us know.)
“We are big fans of horror movies, terrified of them no doubt, but massive fans all the same,” they say in a press release. “We always buy one on the road to watch together on long drives - we have figured out who will die first in the zombie apocalypse that is undoubtedly gonna happen, Joff can do a brilliant Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre impression and it was only a matter of time before we made our own.”
Wolf Alice play next weekend’s Reading & Leeds, and have pretty much sold out their entire September tour.
