Wolf Alice stream debut album ‘My Love Is Cool’
Incredible first work is out next week on Dirty Hit.

Wolf Alice’s brilliant debut album - the long-awaited ‘My Love Is Cool’ - is streaming in full, one week ahead of its 22nd June release on Dirty Hit (UK) and RCA (US).
Bringing together the four-piece’s heady first few years as a band, it includes new versions of singles ‘Bros’ and ‘Fluffy’, as well as fan favourites ‘You’re a Germ’ and ‘Your Loves Whore’. That’s only half of the story, though. Joel Amey leads on the devastating ‘Swallowtail’. ‘Lisbon’ is their fullest, most breathless song to date, with guitars skyrocketing. ‘Silk’ sees them giving nods to Chromatics before diving into structured hip-hop rhythms. It’s wild and varied, but it’s all tied together by a grizzly, dark aesthetic - one that’s been by Wolf Alice’s side from day one.
You’ll be hearing about this record until we’re forced to shut up. It’s an instant classic, and easily one of the year’s best.
‘My Love Is Cool’ is streaming on iTunes in the UK and in the States, over on NPR. Note: ‘Moaning Lisa Smile’ appears on the US version of the album - it doesn’t feature on the UK release.
Wolf Alice will play Best Kept Secret (19th-21st June) and Latitude (16th-19th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
