Dream on Wolf Parade share new track ‘You’re Dreaming’
The Montreal band have also announced a handful of UK dates.
Montreal band Wolf Parade recently announced their return with their first album in seven – yes, that’s right, a whole seven – years, ‘Cry Cry Cry’ coming out on 6th October via Sub Pop.
At the time they also shared a little bit of a taster of what to expect from the LP in the form of ‘Valley Boy’, which set the stage for a record filled with energetic keys, squalling yet euphoric guitars and more than a few rousing anthems. Now they’ve followed it up with ‘You’re Dreaming’, a track that starts off with some urgent vintage keys before bringing in some chunky riffs. It’s all accompanied by a wonderful GIF of a guy dancing on his bed and then in heaven – it’s exactly the same reaction anyone hearing it would probably have to be honest…
Wolf Parade have also announced a bunch of UK and Irish dates for later this year. In November they’ll be heading to Bristol, Dublin, Manchester and London before popping off across the continent. Tickets are on sale now.
