On the telly Watch Wolf Parade play ‘Valley Boy’ on Colbert
They released their new album ‘Cry Cry Cry’ last week on Sub Pop.
Last week, Montreal band Wolf Parade released their first album in over half a decade, ‘Cry Cry Cry’.
In our review of the album, we described their comeback record as being “brazen, boisterous music from a band of men who are more than happy to be plugging in once again”.
When they announced their return back in July, they did so by releasing the track ‘Valley Boy’. It was that tune that they brought to ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’. Their performance on American telly was pretty electrifying, and featured some of the same Medieval-inspired imagery that peppered some of their artwork and videos in the lead up to the release of ‘Cry Cry Cry’.
Watch Wolf Parade play ‘Valley Boy’ below.
