Woman’s Hour re-define dancefloors on the ‘Coversations’ video
London four-piece perform synchronised dance routines while rooted to the floor.
London four-piece Woman’s Hour tend to bring lofty visual concepts to their music videos, and ‘Conversations’ is no different.
The crux of the piece is based around choreographer Trisha Brown, who influenced the band in pushing the theme of expression and - true to the title - conversation, through the neat act of dancing while lying down.
It seems like a smart, sensible alternative to samba classes, that’s for sure, even though the calories probably burn off a little slower.
‘Conversations’ is out this July. Watch the title-track’s video below.
Woman’s Hour’s ‘Conversations’ debut is out 21st July on Secretly Canadian. They play Latitude Festival this summer.
