New single!
Wunderhorse drop spirited new single ‘The Rope’ off the back of Jools Holland performance
The band appeared on ‘Later…With Jools Holland’ on Sunday and debuted the new track.

Wunderhorse have dropped a spirited new single, titled ‘The Rope’. The four peice - who are fronted by Jacob Slater - debuted the song on ‘Later… With Jools Holland’ on Sunday night (1st June) with a passionate performance.
The new single was born at London’s RAK Studio alongside producer Loren Humphrey and replicates the urgent nature of the band’s most recent record, ‘Midas’, which was released in August last year.
“When we first went into the studio to make this record, the only thing we were sure about is how we wanted it to sound: very imperfect, very live, very raw,” Slater said of ‘Midas.’ “We wanted it to sound like your face is pressed up against the amplifiers, like you’ve been locked inside the bass drum.”

The band are currently amidst a sold-out UK tour which included a stop at North London’s Alexandra Palace last week. They still have a busy summer ahead, with performances at the major festivals including Glastonbury (Park Stage), Reading and Leeds and Green Man.
