Years & Years announce London Roundhouse show
The DIY cover stars release their new album ‘Palo Santo’ in July.
Fresh from announcing their new album ‘Palo Santo’ (and gracing the cover of DIY no less), Years & Years have announced a new London show.
Olly, Emre and Mikey will play the Roundhouse on 10th July - four days after the ‘Communion’ follow-up arrives - their first show around the album.
“It talks a lot about how the club is like a church; a church for gay people to go and dance, and I was like, yes!” Olly tells us of ‘Palo Santo’ in our May cover feature. “This is putting into words how I’ve been feeling for so long, and what I’ve been trying to communicate in music. It really inspired me to write a lot.
“When I see dancers, their body is their medium. The art is their body. What an amazing embodiment of creativity, to literally be your limbs and your expression and movement! I’ve always been enchanted by dance.”
