Following the announcement that they’d be releasing new album, ‘Ones and Zeros’ this June, Young Guns have lined up a comprehensive UK tour beginning late next month.
They’ll begin the 20-date two-part jaunt on 27th March in Oxford, before hitting up the likes of Chester, Carlisle, Peterborough and Stoke alongside Glasgow, Manchester, London and Cardiff.
‘Ones and Zeros’ is the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Bones’, and was previewed earlier this month with brand new song, ‘Speaking in Tongues’. The album is released on 8th June.
“In the beginning,” frontman Gus Wood told DIY during the writing process for their new record, “we were struggling to write music that excited us because the things we were writing - or we felt we should be writing - were sounding like songs that could’ve gone on the last record. That wasn’t something that we were interested in doing at all, we wanted this one to be a separate entity. We definitely looked in different places for inspiration on this record.”
