Yumi Zouma release new single, ‘Alena’

Yumi Zouma have followed up a head-turning debut EP with their new single, ‘Alena’.

Previously Kim Pflaum and co. went for nostalgia-led, dreamy pop getting by on a cinematic feel - ‘Alena’ translates this into a dance-first environment. Getting by on drifting house keys and a similarly under-ether aesthetic, everything on their self-titled EP is lifted and placed in completely new territory.

The new single’s out immediately on Cascine, with more release details TBA.

This autumn sees Yumi Zouma arriving in the UK for a one-off show at London Birthdays. They’re also touring New Zealand with Lorde.
