Mischievous in parts - see the wind up toy pop of ‘Hi’, and sultry in others - ‘King of You’ manages to be laid back yet perfectly shimmy worthy - the duo’s peculiar sounding moniker is the perfect gateway to their eccentric sound.
Although ‘This Way’ swerves towards ‘lift music’ terrain, ‘Needle and Thread’’s winding rhythm and ‘Hill of our Home’ showcase a fabulously classy Galia Durant’s smooth vocals to maximum effect.
A duo that enjoy the quirkier side of noise, ‘The Only Thing I ever Wanted’ is an idyllic electroacoustic clatter.
