Azari & III - Reckless (With Your Love)

‘Reckless (With Your Love)’, the gloriously euphoric new single from Azari & III, has been a sleeper hit in the UK over the past year and a staple of many DJ’s club night’s and parties. Now, to coincide with the UK release of the Toronto quartet’s self-titled debut album, the song is finally given a full single release.

Azari & III specialise in up-tempo revivalist house music and ‘Reckless (With Your Love)’ is their signature track, a real dance floor slaying behemoth. From the four-to-the-floor metronomic pulsing kick drum to the relentless house piano and symphonic string samples topped off with a wonderfully sleazy vocal, it bears all the hallmarks of a classic early nineties house record. It feels like it has been around forever.

Azari & III’s sound is certainly very retrogressive but there is still a lot of mileage in those old sounds, and few acts are making better dance music right now.
