There’s no exact science to it: Circa Waves just make catchy songs. They’re innocent, sweet on the inside, sweeter on the outside. Don’t overthink it - just try and run at a similar pace.

It’s difficult to imagine the Liverpool group not going at a breakneck speed, ‘Young Chasers’ races to the finish line. It regales tales of youth like it’s flicking through a Facebook photostream of holiday shots taken in heady drunken nights. There’s a limit to the kind of people Circa Waves will appear to - no doubt. But let forthcoming festivals be the judge of whether these youngsters are actually sweeping the nation. Chances are they’ll be a resounding success.
