Darwin Deez - Constellations

A laid back pop anthem that is near faultless.

It’s that track that you keep hearing everywhere; on the radio, on the TV, even at clubs. ‘Constellations’ is Darwin Deez’s pop master stroke. It’s a three minute pop gem that you can’t help but love and it’ll have you, your Mum, Dad and even your Gran humming along, which is by no means a bad thing, not at all.

Taking a leaf from The Strokes’ book in the form of lazy vocals and mellow guitar lines, ‘Constellations’ is a laid back pop anthem that is near faultless. Both the music and vocals offer up a classic pop exuberance that never falters, and with its joyously upbeat tempo can’t fail but instil a sense of euphoria.

The Remixes offer up something a little bit more off the wall and less Radio One. With SBTKT’s being the more engaging of the two; taking the song in more of a dirty club night direction. T.E.E.D.’s on the other hand is far more of a standard re-envisioning, and lacks originality. The single doesn’t even need the two remixes and stands tall on its own, so what are you waiting for; whack it on your stereo, jump around, sing along and get those hand claps perfectly timed.
