It’s hard to believe that Prego are still yet to be snapped up and signed; quite frankly it’s just criminal, if you ask me. Luckily for them (and us) NME journo-genius Mark Beaumont saw what many of us have seen for years and put his hands in his own pockets to release their latest offering - ‘The Longest Calm’.
Magnificent vocals, awesome vocal harmonies and – in typical Prego style – that brilliantly deceptive layered quality; each and every listen reveals some else entirely. It’s ambitious, energetic… brilliant. plain and simple.
