This last year has certainly been a big one for London-based fivesome Rise To Remain. Touring extensively, becoming festival regulars and working on their debut full length, the band have had a packed schedule to say the least. Their latest single ‘Nothing Left’ is the new basis of what to expect, and it is surprisingly good.
With a sleek, classic rock sound and upbeat aggression forced upon the listener from the start, the band have managed to create a catchy track, which sounds easily transferable into a live capacity. They flaunt tricky licks and lavish solos, toying with harmonics to create a guitar-heavy spectacle. Austen’s dynamic vocals work seamlessly with the guitar’s intricacy, heavy bass and percussion in creating a powerful track.
With this strong teaser of what to expect from their forthcoming album ‘City Of Vultures’, it is fair to expect that Rise To Remain will continue with this fast-paced attack and release a very impressive debut come September.
