The Killers - Somebody Told Me

80s revival; grand isn’t it?

So think The Killers anyway. ‘Somebody Told Me’ could fit well among the likes of Duran Duran or A-ha - it even incorporates the synchronised cheesy ‘ooh ooh oohs’ made popular a couple of decades ado. But there’s no denying it’s insanely catchy, and vocalist Brandon Flowers (nice name, mate) sings with such enthusiasm that it’s near impossible not to appreciate their effort.

Not the most original of the bunch, and certainly a tad tacky, but you’d be mad not to find yourself bobbing your head along to this one.
