Marika Hackman previews debut album with ‘Drown’
Track appears on ‘We Slept At Last’, out February next year.
Marika Hackman is streaming the brittle, perfectly balanced ‘Drown’, the lead track from her forthcoming debut album ‘We Slept At Last’.
The folk newcomer - signed to Dirty Hit - announced her debut last month. It’s out 16th February, with the ghostly ‘Drown’ preceding it on 8th December.
‘We Slept At Last’ is produced by Charlie Andrew, meaning it shares plenty in common with Alt-J and Sivu’s similarly-minded, breakable but absorbing songwriting.
Marika Hackman takes to a headline tour this November. See dates above a stream of ‘Drown’.
