Watch a werewolf Marika Hackman slaughter Laura Marling in new ‘Animal Fear’ video
Hackman’s darkest imaginations come to life.
At first, Marika Hackman’s new ‘Animal Fear’ video comes off like conventional, grainy performance footage, only with added Laura Marling (she’s on bass).
What eventually arrives is a bonkers, bloodthirsty clip which sees Hackman morphinfg into a werewolf before eating Marling alive, covering her poor bandmates in gore. It’s a) bonkers and b) amazing.
The song itself is about the darkest, furthest depths of a human being’s imagination and potential, as Hackman told DIY recently.
