M83 is currently in the studio, with a new album due in 2016

M83 has confirmed that he is currently in the studio, with a new record due in 2016.

He’s also set to re-issue his currently out of print records ‘Digital Shades’ and ‘Saturdays = Youth’ next month, on both CD and LP. Released in 2007 and 2008 respectively, ‘Digital Shades’ marks the point at which French musician Anthony Gonzalez moved into more ambient territory.

Out in physical form on 20th November, M83 has also released a digital version of ‘Saturdays = Youth Remixes and B-Sides’, which includes a whole bunch of reworkings by the likes of Montag and Jori Hulkkonnen. That’s out today, via Naive. The tracklisting for his new b-sides and remixes album is:
