Jimmy Whispers revels in madness in new ‘Keeping Me High’ video

There’s a delirious edge to Jimmy Whispers’ iPhone-recorded bedroom pop that comes to the fore in his new video for ‘Keeping Me High’.

The clip, premiering below on DIY, sees Whispers thrashing and straining under the emotinal weight of his anguished, no-fi bangers (admittedly, those substances probably aren’t helping). It’s a track that revels in that raw-as-yo-like intimacy though; an intimacy that’ll no doubt be reflected in Whispers’ upcoming UK/EU tour. Dates for that are below.
