Over and over again
Los Campesinos! announce Us Vs Them - their very own festival
The Leeds-based fest is launching this December.

They’re a busy bunch, that Los Campesinos! lot. Most bands would take a little ‘me-time’ when recording a new album (particularly if you’ve jetted off to Portugal to do so), but the Welsh-but-not-really-actually-Welsh rabble have launched their own festival instead.
Us Vs Them is set to launch on December 3rd at Leeds’ cultural beacon, the Brudenell Social Club. ‘Curated’ and headlined by Los Camp! themselves, the initial line-up announcement also boasts Shopping, Fear Of Men, Martha, Right Hand Left Hand, The Blue Period and Hot Shorts.
There’s two stages, no clashes, a very reasonable 14+ age restriction, and a football quiz, because this is Los Campesinos! we’re talking about. Basically it sounds like A Bloody Lovely Time. Tickets can be nabbed from here on Friday.
We recently caught up with Los Camp! to find out what’s going on with that new album, and in the current, July 2016 issue of DIY, we induct their second album ‘Romance Is Boring’ into the DIY Hall Of Fame - more on that here.
