Vessels team up with John Grant on ‘Erase The Tapes’

Their new album ‘The Great Distraction’ is out next week.

There’s just a week to go before Vessels release their new album ‘The Great Distraction’ via Different Recordings on 29th September.

Up until now we’ve heard three tracks, ‘Radiart’, ‘Mobilise’ and ‘Deflect The Light’, featuring The Flaming Lips. For their latest cut from the album, they’ve recruited none other than acclaimed American singer John Grant. It’s a grand, sweeping yet intricate piece of electronica that’s further elevated by Grant’s soaring vocal style.

The band say of the track: “We were aiming to create a living, breathing human version of dance music. And there isn’t really anything more honest and organic than the human voice. John Grant really inspired us to create something totally new”.

Vessels are heading out across the UK in support of ‘The Great Distraction’ in September and October. Kicking off in Leeds, they’ll be off to Brighton, London, Manchester, Cardiff and Glasgow. Tickets are on sale now.
