Meat Wave announce new 7” split with Lifestyles - hear the loved up ‘That’s Alright’
The band are currently on a US tour with Cursive.
Chicago punks Meat Wave are currently on a US tour alongside Cursive, and have announced they’re set to release a new 7”!
The new release is a split with Lifestyles, and follows last year’s ‘The Incessant’ LP.
In advance of the new split, which lands via No Trend Records on Friday (26th October), we’re sharing Meat Wave’s half of the split, the raucous, loved-up ‘That’s Alright’.
“In May of 2017, we went into Electrical Audio in Chicago with Lifestyles and good friend/engineer extraordinaire Taylor Hales,” the band explain of the process. “Each band recorded one song live. “That’s Alright” is an ode to love amidst an often evil, terrible world we live in. It is the only song in the Meat Wave discography that has any semblance of positivity or light, and we intend to keep it that way. Enjoy.”
