Crows announce UK tour, share symbolic video for ‘Chain of Being’
The London post-punks’ debut LP is out next month.
Following the announcement of their forthcoming debut LP ‘Silver Tongues’ - set for release on 22nd March via Joe Talbot of IDLES’ label, Balley Records - Crows have now announced plans for a UK tour in support of the record.
Kicking off in Ireland at the end of April, it will see the London post-punks take in seven dates around the country including a hometown show at The Dome in Tufnell Park.
The band have also shared the video for single ‘Chain of Being’ - a dark, symbolic affair shot in monochrome and featuring warped distorted imagery.
Of the track, singer James Cox says: “I’ve a strong emotional link with this song. It is talking about the similarly strong emotional link people have with religion and how many use it as a crutch to not deal with their problems or feelings and instead blindly leaving everything up to a higher power. I understand of course that religion for some people is a source of peace but what I dislike is how religion can in turn also prey on their vulnerabilities.”
