Gone with the lowercase, here exists a duo pulling their socks up and readying themselves for a big next step. ‘All White Everything’ is a confident, glitter-drenched return. It points back to early jj material, with references to “bitches” colliding with near-angelic keys. A knack for balancing striking contrasts still rings true. The difference, here, is that this comeback track packs one hell of a chorus, the kind JJ always seem capable of writing, instead choosing to drift off elsewhere.
