Lacuna matata
Childhood preview debut album with ‘As I Am’
Psych-doused sweethearts release debut ‘Lacuna’ this August.
Putting the wheels in motion for their mind-expanding debut album, Childhood are streaming a new track, ‘As I Am’.
The new effort sees the London four-piece expressing their psych-clipped pop in more finite ways, with Ben Romans-Hopcraft’s vocals coming off sugar-dosed in a sea of sweet, gorgeous sonics. It’s another song boasting Childhood’s serious knack for penning a chorus, too; it’s the kind that sweeps in, right out of the blue.
‘Lacuna’ was produced by Dan Carey and is out 10th August on House Anxiety / Marathon Artists. Read DIY’s in the studio feature here.
