Philip Selway shares ‘Coming Up For Air’ video
The track features on the Radiohead drummer’s new solo LP, ‘Weatherhouse’.
Radiohead drummer Philip Selway is to release his second solo album later this year.
‘Weatherhouse’, the follow up to his 2010 debut, ‘Familial’ will be out via Bella Union on 6th October.
Selway has shared a video today for the opening track from the record, titled ‘Coming Up For Air’. The video has been directed by NYSU, a notable Spanish collective.
Of the video, Selway says, “Good videos can make you rethink the song that you’ve written. They also shine a light on what makes the track tick. NYSU have made a visually rich and intriguing piece for “Coming Up For Air” which stands up in its own right, yet feels in tune with the track.”
