Tame Impala appear to have confirmed their new album

Management company let slip that a follow-up to ‘Lonerism’ is out in 2015.

Tame Impala appear to have confirmed their new album

Tame Impala will release their third album in 2015, it’s been confirmed.

As picked up by Consequence of Sound, a source from the band’s management company is quoted as citing a forthcoming Tame Impala LP when listing 2015 releases - the company also represents fellow Aussies POND.

The third LP follows on from ‘Lonerism’, Kevin Parker and co.’s triumphant 2012 release. According to quotes from the band’s keyboardist late last year, the record will be “less rock and more electronic,” although the band later discredited the quotes in an Instagram post.

Elsewhere this year, Kevin Parker sings on three tracks from Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Special’ album. One has already been unveiled in the shape of ‘Daffodils’ - we’ve yet to hear ‘Leaving Los Feliz’ and ‘Summer Breaking’.
