Disclosure and Sam Smith reveal ‘Omen’ single
High-profile collaboration appears on the ‘Caracal’ album.

Disclosure and Sam Smith have reignited their partnership with a new single, ‘Omen’.
Revealed alongside a big-budget, head-turning video, this is the biggest track to emerge so far from Disclosure’s second album ‘Caracal’. Both acts previously collaborated on breakthrough single ‘Latch’.
Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence are following up their Mercury Prize-nominated debut ‘Settle’ with another LP chock-full of collaborations. ‘Omen’ is the biggest to date, and a track with Lorde is set to be revealed soon.
“It was the most successful two days of songwriting we’d ever had,” the band’s Guy Lawrence has said in a press release, on the subject of the pair’s three days’ worth of writing with Smith. “We wrote five amazing songs, a few for Sam and ‘Omen’.”
Lion Babe, Nao and Kwabs also guest on the release, out 25th September. So far, the record has shared lead single ‘Holding On’ (feat. Gregory Porter) and ‘Moving Mountains’.
Check out ‘Omen’ - with its accompanying video, which comes directed by Ryan Hope and follows on from the initial story laid down in the brothers’ first clip for ‘Holding On’ - below.
