Glastonbury’s headliners are booked for the next two years
Nice one, Michael Eavis mate.

Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis has confirmed that the festival’s headliners are booked for the next two years. Nice one, Mike.
Speaking to the BBC at last night’s AIM Awards, he revealed that all the Pyramid-topping acts for both 2016 and 2017 have been booked. Two of the artists or bands have never played Glastonbury before, and the remaining four are previous headliners.
The current bookies favourites to headline next year - with odds from William Hill - are Foo Fighters (3/1), Muse (10/1), Oasis (12/1) and Fleetwood Mac (12/1). Fleetwood Mac have never played the festival before, despite frequent rumours, and Foo Fighters might well want another shot at headlining after Dave Grohl’s broken leg flummoxed them last time around. There’s also speculation surrounding Prince - who Glastonbury has been after for years - Madonna, and Adele.
Us, though? We’re holding out for a Cher headliner. While we wait for more gossip from the Eavis family, read our guide to music’s possible future headliners, complete with what some of the biggest booking agents reckon.
Festival special! Featuring Wolf Alice, Kasabian, Lykke Li, Marmozets, Genesis Owusu and more.
