Hear a snippet of Thom Yorke’s score for Broadway production ‘Old Times’
Previews for the play begin tonight, 17th September.
Back in August, Thom Yorke was confirmed to have provided music for a new Broadway play, ‘Old Times’.
Debuting tonight (17th September) with a series of previews, the Douglas Dodge production is an adaptation of the Harold Pinter work. Clive Owen, Kelly Reilly and Eve Best will star in the adaptation, which officially launches between 6th October and 29th November at New York’s American Airlines Theatre.
You can hear the first preview of the score below, via a 15-second television advert. 15 seconds - that’s your lot. It’s the equivalent of nibbling a crumb off a chocolate digestive, but it’s something.
The Radiohead frontman recently said this about his involvement: “I’ve enjoyed exploring through music the script’s themes of love and memory as well as Pinter’s rhythms, twists and turns.”
