Charli XCX shares SOPHIE-produced ‘Vroom Vroom’

Charli XCX and SOPHIE have finally aired their bubblegum PC Music-nodding explosion of a track, ‘Vroom Vroom’.

Shared on her Beats 1 takeover, Charli hosted the show before dropping ‘Hey QT’, Liz and everything overwhelmingly sweet in the electronic pop world. She says her new album is “really inspired by the PC Music guys,” so expect ‘Vroom Vroom’ to be a bonkers indication of what’s next. It even namechecks Wolf Alice’s ‘Freazy’ (sort of). The follow-up to ‘Sucker’ is expected to come out in 2016. While we wait, look out for the ‘Vroom Vroom’ video - Charli XCX wants Paris Hilton to star in it, and Paris has already tweeted her support.
