Santa-Kinney
Sleater-Kinney cover The Ramones’ ‘Merry Christmas (I Don’t Want to Fight Tonight)’
The band did a festive cover during the encore of their Cleveland show.
Sleater-Kinney got festive at their recent show in Cleveland, Ohio. During the encore, the band covered The Ramones’ ”Merry Christmas (I Don’t Want to Fight Tonight)’.
Led by the band’s Carrie Brownstein, it was breakneck, punk-flecked choice of seasonal cover, and Katie Harkin - who has been on tour with the band all year - was also onstage. Sleater-Kinney? More like Santa-Kinney, right? Right?! (Sorry, everyone)
Sleater-Kinney united at the beginning of this year, returning after a decade with new album ‘No Cities To Love’. They’re reportedly plotting another new record once touring winds down.
