Radiohead release ninth album, 'A Moon Shaped Pool'

The wait is over. Radiohead have released their new, ninth studio album.

It’s out now on Apple Music, and it’s available digitally and physically via the W.A.S.T.E. store.

It’s their first release in five years, the follow-up to 2011’s ‘The King of Limbs’. And it includes the group’s two most recent songs, ‘Daydreaming’ and ‘Burn the Witch’. It closes with ‘True Love Waits’, a fan favourite for over a decade.

Hype for the new record started this time last week, when fans received embossed postcards containing lyrics for what would become ‘Burn the Witch’. The song then emerged on 3rd May, complete with a terrifying stop-motion video.

Three days later, ‘Daydreaming’ came out alongside a Paul Thomas Anderson-directed music video, which has since been sent out as 35 mm film to select U.S. cinemas.

Radiohead kick off a world tour on 20th May at Amsterdam’s Heineken Music Hall. They play three shows at London Roundhouse (26th-28th May), before playing festivals including Barcelona’s Primavera Sound, Reykjavik’s Secret Solstice, Lisbon’s NOS Alive, Chicago’s Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
