The National and Bon Iver to join forces for new Invisible Bridge Project

The National and Bon Iver are joining forces for a new project called Invisible Bridge. The two bands will play a show together on 25th September at Paris’s Philharmonie.

Organised by The National’s Bryce Dessner, the show will also feature his bandmate and brother Aaron Dessner as part of the project. Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon will also be on vocals, along with the Labèque sisters..

In the Philharmonie’s own description, it says that Invisible Bridge is all about “passing nimbly between rock and contemporary music… with shared compositions and performances.”

It’s not the first time Bon Iver and The National have performed together; in 2014 the two linked up to perform ‘Slow Show’ at Primavera. Watch that below.

The National will play Latitude (14th-17th July where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
