Nick Valensi’s CRX announce debut album, ‘New Skin’
The Strokes’ axeman recruits Josh Homme as producer to boot.
CRX, the band fronted by The Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi, have announced details of their debut album.
‘New Skin’ will be released on 28th October, and was produced by Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme.
The band - completed by Richie James Follin (Guards, Willowz - keyboards), Ralph Alexander (The Dose - drums), Jon Safley (The Reflections, Bleached, The Birth Defects - bass), and Darian Zahedi (The Reflections - guitar) - will premiere tracks from the record at gigs in West Hollywood and Chicago, before heading out for three dates with Beck (all still in the US, though, boo).
